Something lovely to ponder on.
Life is wisp
and I like it
crisp crystal
and
refreshingly to the point
instantaneously
revealing
all there is
away with pretension
just see intention
and the music of life
is yours.

If you can find 'So in Love' by the Chick Corea Akoustic Band, it will elucidate to you, more than mere understanding of the words.

what a REAL rock conert is
Your perceptions might change after seeing this. You might even be interested in how the original sounds like.
All in all, hurrah for their return. Zeitgeist!
I just hope my expectations do not fall to tatters on 070707.

Catching up on lost time
It's time to do the meaningless things that I so enjoy. Yes, the unfortunate hiatus is caused by the dreaded paper monster we all go through. Ah well, as long as it's over, right?
As such, you can rightfully expect pictures I have been collecting over the past half a year(has it been that long??). Yes, as long as they amuse, they should make an appearance.
And so here's one. Potong Pasir is a place riddled by terrace houses. The one below isn't one, and it surely is bereft of any interesting features, right? Nope.

Okay, so I forgot why I was intrigued enough to investigate it. Maybe I was just plain bored (which in fact is the state I am in most of the time), and this I saw!
Wow, way to go in proclaiming optimism in life by making it plain for all to see why you live your life the way you are doing right now! And a backdoor to boot.
That is, until I found out that it actually isn't a residence. Can you guess what it is?

Tears of Joy
After watching and listening to this, you know it's one of these days when you can proclaim, FUCK pop music! (I don't normally use the four letter word, but how apt it is to use it here)
If there's anything that can evoke tears of pure and unbridled joy, this will be your chance!
"As It Is", by Pat Metheny Group.

Triviality and Banality
So, I was bored and decided to flip through the New Paper (the epitome of gossip) when I saw this striking headline that totally grabbed my attention:
Instead of concluding that I have wasted my time reading the New Paper, at least I can say I found a girl who's actually cute, yeah? Come on, admit it, she is. ;p
Wow! How interesting! Come to think of it, quite amusing too! How could a self-proclaimed Queen of Halloween be afraid of a little farm animal, whom we think nothing of chewing on its flesh at a hawker centre? True to the New Paper's penchant for blowing up the most trivial things to fowl(oops!) proportions, I realised the gist of it all:
Bah! I should have known better than to disregard the New Paper's tendency to make unimportant movie actresses look thread-bare interesting. But I decided to give the article a chance, and see if I can gleen anything mildly interesting from it. Alas, I was hopelessly optimistic. If this doesn't convince you, I don't know what will:
*Clap Clap Clap*! Now we are enlightened by the fact that REAL chickens are difficult to hold! I bet you guys are reeling from the shock of knowing that. You will love her for the insightful knowledge, yeah? :p
Or perhaps, might you have speculated that she could be some cutey? For the paedophilic guys, her name is Maki Horikita, and yes she is 18. I do hope for her sake that she realised how trivial and banal she portrayed herself to be. Then again, some guys might find it cute. And yes, before you thwarp me for not posting a nice picture of her, here it is:

Triviality and Banality might seem to be at odds with me, but I have to admit it's entertaining, hehe.
